WIDE WEIGHT RANGEHome and Residential Applications
Ideal for living rooms, bedrooms and seating areas. A weight range of 800-1500 gsm and a thickness of 5-15 mm are generally preferred. Footstep noise is reduced, the carpet is protected against flattening, and floor comfort is increased.
Hotel and Hospitality Applications
Durable, high-acoustic-performance felts suited to heavy foot traffic. Typical range is 1500-2500 gsm weight, 8-20 mm thickness. Footstep noise reduction and inter-floor sound insulation are critical.
Offices and Commercial Spaces
Provides acoustic comfort in open-plan offices, meeting rooms and reception areas. Flame-retardant variants are preferred under modular carpet tiles. Typical range 600-1200 gsm.
Event and Exhibition Venues
Lightweight, flexible felt options for temporary applications that can be easily shipped in roll form. 300-600 gsm weight, 3-8 mm thickness. Single-use or reusable variants.
